Mahogany Tall Clock

 Mahogany tall clock with signed painted face.

The clock face is signed "Wm. Jones, Tredegar".

This is the town in Blaenau Gwent County in South Wales.

The carved detail on the bonnet of this clock are Scottish.

This antique clock was found in a farmhouse in Wales by a picker.

It had been in that farmhouse and in that family since early 19th century.

The bonnet has scrolled solid frieze above the inlaid and cross banded arch with three carved pinwheel flowers.

The inner surround of this clock is also scrolled.

The painted face has and arch with a seaside scene.

The case has lambs tongue chamfers and string inlaly.

This clock has the original front feet and truely originally never had back feet.
