Arched top, painted, antique, clock face with scene of a reclining shepardess with her red and white sheep dog by a stream with the valley in the back ground.

All four corners of this arched top clock face have Yorkshire river scenes.

The clock face is signed 'Hargrave Bawtry'.

The dial is arabic numerals.

The clock maker named on this clock face is James Hargrave of Bawtry near Doncaster in Yorkshire, England.

About 1770 to 1835.

We have installed a battery operated set of hands so this can now be a functional accent clock.
