Transfer plate with hand painted color of a peasant couple in a very detailed country scene.

There is a house in the back ground with a fence, & bushes.

The border is fully developed with flowers and leaves.

The hand coloring is in soft yellow, green, pink, blue and brown.

The mark on the back is an impressed shield with 'P & H Choisy'.

This creamware plate was made from 1824 to 1836.

The diagonal marks are flaws in the transfer print.
