Superb English George I (circa 1725) “Seaweed” inlaid walnut open armchair (Library chair) with leaf carved splat centering the Seaweed inlay.

The scrolled arms terminate is eagle heads.

The cabriole legs are shell and tassel carved that extend up on the skirt and end in ball and claw feet.
