Set of carving knife and carving fork with horn handles.

This knife and fork have shaped butt plates.

Marked on the knife “Meriden Cutlery Co” of Connecticut with the silhouette of an anvil on the blade.

The fork has “Pat’d May 7, 1878” with the folding carving guard.

Note the ferrules have differences.

The knife blade has a lovely graceful long shape.
